Introduction

From 1962 to 1975, America crashed into an era filled with mystery. In 1963, the president was assassinated. In 1965, the U.S. started to send troops to Vietnam. The civil rights movement struck mid-60’s, making a impact on one’s who didn’t have the same rights as the average ‘white’. From war to equality, life was busy for an American. When Nixon became president, the war in Vietnam had reached its peak. With so much death and change around them, Americans were falling apart. When Watergate hit the streets, Americans couldn’t trust the government anymore. This was the decade of change, and more change was yet to come.
